A friend asked your address or you want to send funds from another wallet to the one you have on Eidoo, but you don't know how to receive them? You are in the right place. Here’s the guide on how to receive tokens on Eidoo.
First of all, please bear in mind that your wallet only has two addresses: one for Bitcoin (please notice that a brand new address will be generated after every deposit), and one for Ethereum and all the EVM compatible blockchains Eidoo has support for (the address you should share to receive any coin, token or NFT on EVM compatible blockchains as Ethereum, BNB Chain, Fantom, Avalanche C-Chain and so on is the same one).
Here are the two ways for you to see your addresses:
- the first way to see that page is by clicking on the token you want to receive from the "Crypto" homepage. Here, you will have a view of the balance of the token together with the buttons to receive, swap (only for ETH and EVM blockchains) and send it, and the recent history of the transactions involving it, if any. Tap on the first button, the one with the symbol "+". You will be presented to a page with an address you can share, see in the blockchain explorer or copy, and a QR code representing it
- alternatively, be sure to be on the "Crypto" homepage and tap on the symbol of the QR code under the balance (1). Then, select the blockchain you wish to receive the assets (2). You will be presented to a page with an address you can share, see in the blockchain explorer or copy, and a QR code representing it (3).
Now, you shall go to the wallet from which you want to send the funds and paste the address you copied or scan the QR code you see on Eidoo and approve the transaction.
For the transaction to go through, it is crucial that the blockchain used by the sender and the one of the address shared by the receiver coincide. If you try to send native BTC to an Ethereum wallet, you will lose your funds irreversibly, as well as if vice versa you try to send ETH or any other EVM token to a wrong address or to one of another non-compatible blockchain.
⚠️ WARNING ⚠️
Eidoo is not responsible for any loss of funds. Please be careful and always double check the addresses involved in the transaction.
